String Theory

String Theory at FOLK City

Don’t miss String Theory Sunday, February 18th at FOLK City at Photo City: A Benefit for REACH from 6:30pm-7:15pm.

Matt Sauer is a staple to the Rochester NY Bluegrass, Folk, and Americana scene. He is on the short list to sub in ZBTB, and has played with Teressa Wilcox, Wreckloose (whom are out of the Albany market and won a contest to be featured on an NPR album). Matt is currently playing locally with North Star String Band and in a Duo project with Nate Coffey. He is well known for his excellent singing in both lead and harmony lines, as well as skilled playing of electric lead or acoustic guitar. Matt also brings with him over 2 decades of experience performing and is a pleasure to have on stage.

On Fiddle, Mandolin, Banjo, Guitar and pretty much any other instrument needed that has strings on it… Is Mike Kedley. Mike was formally educated at SUNY Postdam in the Crane School of Music. He currently also plays in ZBTB and can be seen around town playing solo gigs and teaching music. He is one of the best Bluegrass guys in town and brings that piece to each group he plays with. He can also fix pretty much anything with strings.

A.J. Noto plays bass

Jim Barbero plays mandolin but he’s going to be in Hawaii with his family.

Guest musicians always possible!
