We're starting a flower farm! We built a new stage! Visit us this winter!

Hey y’all! That’s right, we’re starting a flower farm! In the lot behind The Gauger House!

If you’ve ever met me or heard me ramble on and on about all my plans and ideas for our properties out in Hannibal, you’ve likely heard me make mention of this “flower farm.” It started as just a seed in my mind and has sprouted into an actual thing! We’ve even broke ground on it!

I thought this farm would be years away when I started talking about it as I knew I didn’t have the time or means to make any real plans for it now BUT these guys felt differently and stepped in to take on the responsibility. SO SAY HELLO TO SEAN & ANNA! The hands behind the hoes, the souls with the seeds, the bodies that be pulling the weeds. But really, let’s welcome them on as The Gauger House flower farmers. Expect to see and hear more about this in future updates.

Another cool thing,

we’re calling it Fay Flower Farm.

Fay Gauger was my paternal grandmother, and the lady that made The Gauger House a home sense it was built in 1962. She is also one of my namesakes. (Gabriella Fay Rose Gauger, that’s me!)

In Lodge news,

we built a new stage! Inside the cabin. A classy little thing for intimate gatherings. We’re calling it The Listening Corner.

I’m very much looking forward to seeing some of our beautiful and talented friends make some music on this pretty thing very soon. All the thanks in the world go to Mike Maher on this build. He’s been hands #1 on this Lodge since the beginning of renovations out here and is still knocking it out of the park.
